Get to and from Senai Airport – Transportation Explained
1. Public Bus System
Public transportation is common in many parts of the world include Asia also is no exception. While widely available you will not find a direct bus traveling from Senai Airport to Singapore or in reverse. This means that on top of having to pay attention to a schedule you will have to transfer at least once and possibly more often between buses. Each bus will have its own schedule. Sometimes, the buses run more early or late depending on conditions that day. If you miss the bus, you’ll be stuck waiting for the next bus. Along with that hassle, you will need to transfer your baggage between buses as well. Plan ahead for this though because not all buses will have room to store luggage and some may not allow you to carry large items on board with you. While it may work for locals in the area, the bus isn’t an ideal option for those on vacation or traveling for business.

2. Cost Effective Transport with The Shuttle Service
We’ve gone over the availability of buses and why they may not work that well. The Causeway bus offers an airport shuttle bus from and to between Johor Sentral and Senai International Airport. After this you can move onto the Causeway Link and take the Transtar Cross Border Service, SBS Transit Bus or Singapore Bus service to Singapore. The Shuttle Service offers a guide while traveling. The downside to traveling in this manner is you will be forced to leave the bus at least a few times so papers can be checked by immigration officers at the border. While this is a cost effective option, it is heavy in the consumption of time. If you decide to use this route of transportation expect it to take quite a while and leave room for delays on either end of your trip.
3. Comfort, Security and Fast Travel with Private Taxi Service
The best option for travellers and tourists coming from Singapore to Malaysia is private taxi service. While admittedly not the cheapest option available it will save you not only time but also vast amounts of unnecessary stress and confusion. With a private taxi service you won’t have to worry about a long wait at the border for immigration, transferring luggage repeatedly, or worry about getting lost. Enjoy your travel in a deluxe 7-seater private taxi and relax before beginning your adventure. If leaving Malaysia, leave in peace and style.
