Good music all day long. Even in the pool. Spacious and sound proofed room, and easy access to the water park. The staffs were friendly.

Clean, the place is really clean. Breakfast spreads are amazing! Thanks to the staff for waking up early to prepare sahoor and the usual breakfast.

From the outer look of the building it seem like a fairy tales concept whereby the building looks like a Castle from the Fairy Tales story line which the children and also the parents were enchanted with the concept. The moment the guest drives into the resort they will be greeted by the nature of the trees and also the surrounding area where people will do their check in at the lobby reception area and able to see an antique fire brigade car from the lobby area and an avian sanctuary featuring varieties of peacocks, parrots, geese, ducks and many other avian creatures. Lotus Desaru Beach Resort & Spa is located along Johor’s Eastern coastline. It features a water park, fitness center and spacious suites with kitchenettes. Free parking is provided.

This modern beachside property features a large outdoor pool set in tropical landscapes. It offers spacious rooms that open out to a private balcony, fitness facilities and 6 dining options.

Staff was very helpful, showed initiative and was really friendly!

How to go to Desaru ?

 

1. Travel by public bus to Desaru

  1. Proceed to Platform No. 2 inside the JB Sentral Bus Terminal to board the Causeway Link JDX Bus Service.
  2. Customers are advised to be at the bus bay area for at least 15 minutes before bus departure time in order not to miss the bus.
  3. Each passenger is only allowed to bring on board two (2) medium-sized luggages during the journey. The weight of both luggages must not exceed fifteen (15) kilograms.
  4. From Mondays to Thursdays, this bus service will run for a single round trip with a starting and ending point at the JB Sentral bus terminal.
  5. During Fridays to Sundays, Causeway Link JDX Bus Service will have two round trips in a day to cater more to day-trippers from both destinations.
  6. The pick-up and drop off point at Desaru Coast is at the Riverside.  Free shuttle buses to get to the different hotel destinations in Desaru Coast like Westine, Hard Rock, Anantara, One&Only, and Els Club are also in the same pick and drop off points.

2. Travel by private taxi to Desaru

3. Travel by ferry services to Desaru ** Latest from 7th July 2022

We are very excited to announce the launch of the new ferry service between Singapore Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and Desaru, and its time to get your feet wet !

Desaru is a beautiful seaside town in Malaysia, located on the South China Sea that’s just waiting for you to visit. It’s a popular tourist destination, with many hotels and resorts offering beachfront accommodations with plenty of exciting attractions for visitors, including water parks and amusement parks.

The new ferry service will make it easier than ever to visit this wonderful area without having to drive or fly there yourself!

The ferry will depart from Singapore at 08:30 AM on every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving in Desaru at 10:00 AM. It leaves Desaru at 5:30 PM every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving back in Singapore by 7:00 PM.

Ticket cost SGD70 (1 way) and SGD118 (2 way) per person, providing a cost effective alternative if you are travelling in a small group of 3 or less. Ticket reservation can be made in the ferry operator’s website.
